I am planing a trip to Russia in July & would like to get my visa as early as possible just in case it can take a bit.
Does anyone understand how far in advance you can do that? I have seen both ninety days & six months — maybe perhaps maybe not certain that its different according to where you’re from (I’m Canadian). We tried calling ILS in Toronto nonetheless they don’t actually answer fully the question demonstrably & i can not discover the home elevators the Russian website that is consular.
Any assistance will be valued! Thanks!
Russians are bad, yet not that bad (joking). For legal reasons — three months ahead of time, but because I travel extensively and this is the only time I’m home for a long time in the coming 6 months — do not see a reason why they will decline if you add a letter, saying, Mr. Consul, please issue me a tourist visa in advance. This will be real, from trying if you would not be Canadian — Canadian Embassy here is known to be one of the nastiest and most unwelcoming to Russian applicants (processing time 40 days!) of all Western countries, so Russians in Canada might be unfriendly as well — but nothing prevents you! Enjoy!
Many thanks Vasily. I’m very sorry the Canadian embassy is unfriendly. That is the opposite of most Canadians! But i do believe we’ll hold back until a few months before using in case.
Oh no. waytorussia detailed Sydney as being a hard consulate to cope with!
